GAME AND BIRD VIEWING

Intaba-Indle is situated in a malaria-free environment, on top of a hill overlooking unspoiled bushveld and mountains. There are game species like Giraffe, Kudu, Blouwildebees, rooihartebees, waterbuck, Zebra, Blesbuck, Njala, Impala, Warthog, klipspringer, duiker, steenbuck, rietbuck en bushbuck, baboons and monkies.  Through the sale of game, Intaba-Indle can help to subsidise the levies of owners, ensuring this is kept as low as possible. Only one game viewing vehicle per stand is allowed to be in the veld at any given time, ensuring as little as possible impact on the environment and the surroundings.

The area is also well known for excellent bird viewing opportunities, and Intaba-Indle hosts more than 200 different bird species.

HIKING AND MOUNTAIN BIKING

The farm consists of 490 HA of nature of which only approximately 20% was developed into stands, roads and common facilities. The unspoiled areas are a feast for mountain bikers and hikers. You can do this in the safety of Intaba-Indle Security without leaving the gates. No quad bikes are allowed, ensuring owners can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the bushveld.

BOSPOORT DAM

The Bospoort dam was built during the second world war, by the Italian war prisoners. It once served as the main water supply to the Bela-Bela municipality. Owners are allowed to fish in the 5 ha Bospoort dam on a catch and release basis. The dam is teeming with Carp, Kurpers, Bass, Barbell and many hours are spent by our owners around the braais, telling stories about the big ones that got away. Only non-motorized boats are allowed, ensuring minimal impact on the game and bird life surrounding the dam
